Alabama’s Moody to retire

Rick Moody, head coach of Alabama’s women’s team, announced on Tuesday that he will retire after the 2004-2005 season. Since 1989, Moody has led the Tide to eight NCAA Tournaments and the 1994 Final Four. He positioned Alabama as a consistent SEC force in the mid-1990s, reaching five consecutive Sweet 16s. He will retire with over 300 wins at Alabama.
