Lady Dogs head into off-week with win over Alabama
Sunday February 5, 2006
Georgia shot just 41% for the game, but 35 Alabama turnovers and 18 Georgia steals helped fuel another double-digit victory for the Lady Dogs. Cori Chambers led the scoring with 18 points.
At 7-2, the Lady Dogs are alone in third place in the SEC behind LSU and Tennessee. After a week off, the Lady Dogs have an opportunity to make some noise in the standings with back-to-back games against LSU on Sunday in Baton Rouge and then against Tennessee in Athens next Thursday.
