Sherill Baker scored 22 points, and four Lady Dogs scored in double-figures as Georgia shook off Thursday’s loss to beat Vanderbilt in a key battle of ranked SEC teams.

After Sunday’s SEC action, the Lady Dogs have clinched no worse than 4th place in the SEC regular season standings and a crucial first-round bye in the SEC Tournament. The Lady Dogs are currently tied for third place with Kentucky, but Georgia’s 91-57 win over Kentucky earlier in the season breaks the tie in favor of Georgia.

If Georgia wins out against Arkansas and Auburn, they would earn the #3 seed in the conference tournament regardless of any other team’s wins and losses.
