Georgia closed the first half with a 29-12 run, and they turned a close game into a relatively easy 69-47 win over Vanderbilt. Sherill Baker (27 points) and Cori Chambers (20 points) had as many points as the entire Vanderbilt team. Tasha Humphrey only scored six points but controlled the boards with 11 rebounds.

Next up is the SEC semifinals and the third meeting of the year with Tennessee. The Lady Vols had few problems beating Auburn on Friday. Saturday’s semifinal game will once again start around 9:50 p.m. ET after the LSU-Kentucky game. Fox Sports South will have the TV coverage again.

6th-seeded Vanderbilt had only a one-point halftime lead, but they outscored #11 Alabama 47-26 in the second half for an 84-62 win.
