Give the Golden Panthers credit…they were relentless bombers who fought hard in the second half after Georgia sprinted out to a 12-point halftime lead. Ashley, yet another birthday girl (tomorrow), led the way with a career-high 24 points, including a four-of-five performance from three-point land. She also picked up the tournament’s MVP award, joining Tasha on the all-tournament team.

The Lady Bulldogs are now 12-0 on the season and finally headed back to Stegeman Coliseum to host Presbyterian on Wednesday night. It’ll be the perfect chaser for your Sugar Bowl Hot Toddy.
