Some match-up, huh? Oh, well…I guess somebody’s gotta win. The two big questions for tonight are:  1. Can Stanford bring the same fire, determination, and exuberance to tonight’s game as they did versus Connecticut or did the Cardinal play their best game of the season one game too early?  2. (A two-parter) How healthy is Candace Parker and, if she’s ailing, can Tennessee get enough points from the rest of their starting four to hang with an explosive Stanford offense?

We shall see.

lady Your Fastbreak Club is very proud to announce that one of the most beloved, admired, and accomplished Lady Bulldogs ever, Lady Hardmon (Grooms), is returning to Athens on the evening of April 15 as the special guest emcee for the annual Fastbreak Club Awards Banquet. If you haven’t RSVP’ed for the banquet yet, please do so by midnight on Saturday (April 5). Invitations were mailed a couple of weeks ago and they can also be found in the latest issue of Fastbreaking News, the Club’s official newsletter.

Where does one even start in listing the accomplishments of Lady Hardmon? Three times an All-SEC player. An All-SEC Freshman. One All-SEC Tournament team. A two-time pre-season All-American. Firmly entrenched in the top-ten for just about every Lady Bulldogs career offensive category. Nearly a decade of play in the WNBA.
