sherri As part of the countdown to this weekend’s season opener versus Coach Sherri Coale (pictured) and her nationally ranked (8th in AP, 13th in ESPN/USA Today) Oklahoma Sooners, here’s a link to an article from The Oklahoman in which Coach Coale discusses her expectations for this season’s Sooner squad and how they’re adjusting to basketball life without superstar frontliners Courtney and Ashley Paris. The Paris sisters, lost to graduation after last season, weren’t just integral components of OU’s on-court attack…they were also the public face and identity of the Oklahoma program in the eyes of women’s college basketball fandom. A new era for both Oklahoma and Georgia starts this Sunday afternoon in Athens.
