Ridiculous. If Georgia goes 0-2 last week, you can drop them five spots to #19. But they didn’t. They beat a ranked team (LSU) and then lost, playing shorthanded, to a hot South Carolina team. That’s a two-or-three spot drop…not a five spot drop. This is still a 19-5 team that’s beaten three teams that are currently ranked ahead of them, after all. Oh, well…the climb upward starts this Thursday in Lexington. Here’s this week’s AP poll top five and Georgia’s ranking:
